USES ONE OF THE DOWNTIME ACTIVITIES FOR THE DURATION

This downtime activity for recovering from issues with the characters Sponsor. This sponsor could be a NPC, Power, Immortal or God of the setting and which ever way you look at it, you need to make it right.

Target the characters sponsor which while working with the Secret Crafts, also applies to Paladins, Cleric, Druids, Rangers, Warlocks and Bards who displease their source of magic, or any other character who upsets one of the powers of the setting and wants to clear it outside of roleplay. Resutls are negotiatione with the DM.

It is up to the player to justify the attribute they are going to use and to describe their guide as part of the recovery process, adding to the lore of the setting. The guide will only train with that attribute. Settlement modifier might apply.

Check - Each week of recovery has an attribute check versus a DC dependant on who you have wronged to gain any recovery. A natural 1 caused the task to fail. A natural 20 will recover all issues. You can choose to succeed on a failure if you also take a complication.

Recovery breakdown

• Note - Cannot be done while travelling
• Base Check DC = 10 + tier of NPC + title modifier + tier of immortality and likely to have a + magnitude of mistake.
• You have access to a guide/instructor. Add 5 to the DC if one is not is available.
• Magniture = Basic (+0), Easy to fix (+1), Average to fix (+2), Hard to fix (+3), Difficult to fix (+4), Daunghting to Fix (+5), Impossible to Fix (+6-10)
• Time (What you need to make the check in session)
• 2 weeks (+1 to check for every additional week spent recovering)
• Half if recoverying with an guide/instructor
• Cost per Week (What you need to make the check in session)
• Special - Dependant on what you are fixing
• No change if learning with an guide/instructor
• Check (What you need to make the check in session, between sessions the d20 in the check is replaced by 10)
• Tradition Check = d20 + spell casting tradition attack bonus + Settlment Modifier + Lifestyle Modifier + Renown
• Secret Craft Check = d20 + craft bonus + Settlment Modifier + Lifestyle Modifier + Renown + Circle

Complications - Complications arise while recoverying typically involve the guide. This increases the cost of recovery by one week per point that the character missed the target number.

6. Your guide asks for help dealing with a threat before continuing.

Note on Secret Crafts - Each craft may have different ways you can meditate, mostly focusing on what the craft is about and how sustaiment can be achieved. This is another way you can appease the powers behind the secret craft.
